We HAVE Approval !!

Got our letter 6/6/15..We ARE USCIS.Approved to adopt up to 3 children.WHOOHOOOO!!
Once we have everything  Appostiled its off to country...We should be traveling in about 8 to 10 weeks from today....Things are moving..We are trusting totally in God if Amelia is to become our daughter He will bring in the funds to add her ..


This weekend was a long one..Three of our children graduated and Yesterday was their party..Samuel leaves for Ethiopia tomorrow ...Im exhausted and calling it a night..early..lol


We covet all of your prayers as we moves even farther into our adoption process....

Our Home Study IS IN country with the rest of our Dossier..What does that mean you ask? Well that means we are ALMOST there...Just waiting for our USCIS approval and we will have everything we need to complete this adoption and bring our children home...ALL in Gods PERFECT timing !
 We are still short on funds....we have 2 short months to collect all we need to add another child..She desperately needs out ...she has waited 9 years for someone to step up and say YES...we cannot do this without your support..

Introducing another Special Angel

We have been praying for a long time about a little girl we heard about back in December.A family met and fell in love with her and was determined to help her family find her.She is 9 years old and oh so tiny just like Harley...She is also in Harleys same orphanage. We have been pushing to get her file ready for months...We decided If God had her ready when we traveled for Harley..that would be our sign we are to bring her home as well...Serge worked and pushed to get her ready..he found her parents and they both agreed to sign all the forms needed and they wanted their daughter to be adopted...We have just learned all the paperwork has been filed and our sweet girl will be available in less than 2 months ... She is so deserving and precious... Thank you Lord for putting the lonely in families...for making my heart ach for orphans..for making it possible to bring this sweet girl home too...Lord I ask that YOU meet the funding we need to do this..I KNOW and I trust you have that all figured out as well and we say YES,we WILL go!

Harley we are coming for you !!

Here we go again...I know what you are all thinking before I even finish this sentence..Im sure none of you are really, THAT, surprised! Rick and I have been praying for some time..It took him a little longer this time to agree, and say yes..after a lot of prayer and fasting we have both agreed this is Gods will . We also both agree this is our last adoption .. Im not getting any younger guys,and I'm getting tired...Yes I know...you don't believe me do you !

We started this adoption January 2015, when I starting thinking about this little girl who has been waiting for so long. Harley is 14 and will turn 15 in June 2015,yet she is, tiny like a toddler. Harley is full of sunshine and smiles despite her life of hardship and losses.She is sweet and loving and so worthy of a family and love!
I have been watching this sweet ray of sunshine for a long time now,and infact commented to several of my friends about her cuteness and they all agreed. Harley looks frail and needy as most older children are when they live life in a orphanage...her continued smile is what touched me deeply..And so I prayed about this sweet lost child..and asked God to move if this was His will...and move He did !

Many doors needed to be opened to bring Harley home...and God opened every one of them.
We now have our Home study finished and most of our Dossier in country..We got our finger prints for USCIS and after we send in a few more things they have requested, we hope to receive our I171h.the end of May.

We are soooo close...2 months from traveling...There is another angel we are also praying about bringing home with Harley. Her name is Amelia..she is in the SAME orphanage.

Amelia is 9 and the size of a 3 year old...she too is happy and full of sunshine despite the lack of love and family.God never ceases to amaze me ... NEVER doubt how He loves the little children !!

Please cover us in prayer as we move full speed ahead for these two precious little girls !

P.S. months ago we were moving forward to adopt a little girl from China...her name is Paisley..God chose to close that door...it was hard and we were sad but we TRUST God in ALL things...as we move full speed ahead ....

Abby skypes with her birth mom

Today was a day filled with tears and praises ! Abby was adopted from Ethiopia in 2007..her gotcha day infact was 7/7/07 hows that for a loving touch from the Lord ! We have been able to locate two of our children's families and unable to find Abbys...until now...Here they are ..seeing eachother for the first time in 7 years....the first photo is of the last time they were together...Abby was 7... Thank you God for this treasured gift!!

Paper work Paper work and more Paper work !

Working on our home Study.Thank God we wont have to do all the clearances in different states like we did last time.That took forever ! Five months it took for our last Home Study...praying this time is more like 2 to 3..We are using the same agency. I made Doctor apts for the kdis who haven't been to the Dr for a year..Rick and I need one as well..thats about all we have left....Our worker is coming Oct 2nd and combining both our post adoption visit with our first Home Study visit! Well guys a write I am not...just wanted to thank all who are donating to help us bring Paisley home !!!

Anyone notice a empty chair?

We had our family picture taken at church..its the photo above.It was for the Directory,something our family hasn't done yet...gather together and say CHEESE.This was something Me..MOM wanted badly..And we had our two new littles from China to be in it so, it was perfect timing.Getting all the clothing together and picked out..getting everyone hair done and braided,was a lot of work...but worth it...
     Once we got the photo...we noticed a empty chair..Hmm ..how strange is that...really weird infact..
We joked about how God had plans to fill that chair...little did we know ..it was no joke!
  Here we are .. one month shy of 1 year getting home with Peyton and Carrington,..a YEAR after our family photo was taken..and God calls us again..
Soon we will  welcome home another BEAUTIFUL, Treasured daughter,one God has chosen for our family..she is the child missing in our family photo..she is the missing piece...Our daughters name is Paisley Alexis !!

Thank you Lord for blessing me and for calling me to be your daughter for eternity...Bless you father for all you do for my family and for never giving up on me..Thank you for drawing me closer and closer to you and for your grace every moment in my day ..You are so faithful Jesus and I love you !!!

Where has the time gone ???

We have been home with Carrington and Peyton almost a year already....WOW! It has been busy and WONDERFUL all rolled up in one...The girls are in school and they love it ! Peyton got a new wheel chair and that was a huge blessing !
Carrington is potty training and talking so much ... she is pure joy! Here are a few pictures of our Precious Princesses !

Were HOME !!!!!!

God is sooooo good..Our time in China went fast It was wonderful spending time with the girls and they did fantastic .Our time in Guangzhou was the best....staying at the Garden was magical and soooo beautiful. I infact miss it already ! Shopping ---my favorite thing to do was also wonderful there..I was able to find many things for friends and for our family ...lil treasures to bring back.The childrens clothes were wonderful..little shops with beautiful dresses and shoes and darling outfits for really cheap prices I went crazy ..Thank God I married a great guy who lets me indulge a bit.

AAI was a GREAT AGENCY to work with...We also loved working with Mr Li while we were there.He was great to get us in on our apt first so we didn't have to wait..both on the Doctors apts for the girls as well as the Visa apts...Well you all know by now..Im not a long writer...so without further ado...here are our two new princesses !!!!

11 days and counting DOWN !!

11 days until we leave to get our girls...I sooo cannot wait to get my hands and arms all around them. It seems so surreal. It has taken us 17 months to get to this point...Thank you for all the prayers...encouragement and support along the way...Any one who has been on the rollercoaster ride called Adoption knows what a ride it can be.
    Well my dears, we are almost there....We are still short on funds and have a short time to try to get the rest of the way...we so badly need our FSP page to read $8,193....we need just $1,113 more to get there. PLEASE Pray we will get there. We need the last of the funding to pay for our Motel and food as well as Medicals for the girls...I know our God is MIGHTY to save God's SOOOOOOOO GOT THIS !!
